ARGON S.A. was founded in April 1993 as a supplier of Graphic Arts equipment and consumables.

The main activities of the Company were focused in the prepress segment of the Graphic Arts market and the DTP systems. As a matter of fact, within a very short period of time we succeeded in establishing a "LINK COMPANY" between Graphic Arts and Computer Science by combining prepress with the special application of computers in this field.

The company started very powerfully, it grew up very fast and due to the experience and perfect technical know how of its technical team on one hand and the remarkably high sales performance on the other it is nowadays considered as a leading Graphic Arts company in the Greek market.

Through a careful follow up of the continuous developments in the field and the corresponding strategic approach for enrichment of its product range, ARGON is very successfully and reliably representing on an exclusive and / or non exclusive distribution agreement large and worldwide known companies such as: ECRM – DU PONT – GLUNZ & JENSEN – TECHKON – X-RITE – TYPON – FARRUKH – NORSCREEN – SACK – MONACO – WASATCH – SAVERIO RIFF – JUST – XITRON – LITHOPLATE as well as some more suppliers of various products.

The future endeavors and targets of the company are closely related to the new tendencies in graphic arts. In this respect ARGON has already obtained latest technology products and has developed high quality services and support. Notwithstanding this fact, ARGON keeps on enriching its activities and by now it is ready to confront the challenging revolutions of the new era which we are gradually moving into.

Marketing objectives :

A. To develop through dealers and our organised computer center a network dedicated in sales of small Flat Bed and Drum Scanners, Imagesetters, CTP via our own importation and Plotters (HP - EPSON & SEIKO) as importers or as local authorized resellers.
B. To supply our existing customers -to whom we have sold more than 100 ECRM Imagesetters and SCANVIEW Scanners /Imagesetters - new equipment like Flat Bed and Drum Scanners, OPI Servers, Image Processing Units and high quality digital color solutions.
C. To sell as many CtP recorders starting our endeavor from printers whom we have succeeded in supplying Crosfield scanners prior to Crosfield’s reorganisation and break down.
D. Along with the CtP technology to expand our activities to the printing field of the market whereas apart from the sales of CtP recorders and printing presses (mainly refurbished ones) also supplying the corresponding CtP and other conventional consumables (plates, chemistry etc). Last but no least, we should not ignore the fact that due to our good reputation in the market and the perfect relationship with our customers, the majority of our clientele are very confident in our company and in any new equipment and / or product we represent and sell in the market.
